The latest Nokia phones announced today are the Nokia E66 and Nokia E71. You can call them multimedia computers because they are rich in functionalities like email access via Microsoft Exchange, the Ovi services such as maps, music and file sharing, while the users get access to high-speed Internet browsing thanks to the HSDPA connectivity. Other common features include wireless LAN, 3G connectivity, A-GPS, Nokia Maps, music player, built-in 3.2MP camera and memory slot for up to 8GB of storage.

Both latest Nokia phones are optimized mainly for email, supporting over 1,000 ISPs worldwide besides Gmail, Yahoo! And Hotmail accounts. They give users access to calendar, contacts, downloadable attachments written in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, System Seven and Visto Mobile email solutions are also supported. Another feature is the switch mode that allows users to switch between work and personal home screens.

Nokia E71 bar phone with stainless steel case available in 2 colors with a nice metallic finish has a full QWERTY keyboard, while the E66 slider model comes with an orientation sensor for full screen viewing and silence ringer as the handset is tuned over.



Other important features of the new handsets include encryption functionality for the internal memory and the memory card, integrated mobile VPN support for access to the companies’ intranets, and advanced voice features.

The latest Nokia phones, Nokia E71 and Nokia E66, will be available next month at a starting price of EUR 350.
