For those that had the pleasure to see the model presented this summer in Korea, we have good news.
The LG Viewty just started to be available in Europe.

The powerful 5MP Schneider-Kreuznach camera is the most special characteristic of this phone, allowing you to create perfect clear photos at a high quality, using the manual and auto focus options, the SmartLight technology and the Image Stabilizer.
The camera uses also Xenon light type for night shots.


A big touchscreen of 3 inches rendering 262K colors, the rare handwriting editing function, the possibility to watch DivX videos in widescreen format, the unique recording option at 120 fps, make this LG model worth $800.

Other features include the TV out, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps and EDGE connectivity, WAP 2.0, Bluetooth 1.2 with AD2P and BPP, USB 2.0, PictBridge for coonecting to printer via USB, MP3 player, an internal memory of 100Mb with the possibility to extend it up to 2GB using the microSD card, and the 1,000 mAh battery.

    Yes you should call at AT&T and ask them to send u the settings. They can do this via an SMS message with the option to apply the settings automatically after you open the message, or they can send you the settings via email so you to use them manually.
    This is a suggestion:
    * Homepage: http://device.home
    * Bearer: GPRS
    * GPRS settings:
    o APN: wap.cingular
    o User ID: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
    o Password: CINGULAR1
    1. Scroll to and select Proxy Settings and press OK.
    * IP Address: 66.209.11.32
    * Port Number: 80
    2. Press the End call key to return to the standby screen.

    But you should better call at AT&T. It doesn't matter if they don't sell Viewty, i had an LG U8290 from T-Mobile and Vodafone set it to work with the Internet, MMS and such.
