The American people cannot complain about the cell phone market existent in their country, because there are many powerful carriers that are eager to satisfy their needs at a maximum level of performance. So it’s no wonder that June 5th is going to be a very busy day for the guys over Verizon who announced the introduction of LG enV Touch in their line of products.

But it seems there will be one more South Korean phone to hit the American market on the same day and it will be sold by Verizon also. The phone will be called LG Glance VX7100 and it won’t be much more impressive than the enV Touch, but Verizon sure hopes that it will bring a significant number of customers.

The slim candybar has a cover that looks like being very exquisite and expensive, even if it’s not made of expensive materials.

The features include a 2 inch QVGA display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, CDMA 1xRTT connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth connectivity, and 2.5mm headset jack. It measures 4.31 x 1.87 x 0.38 millimeters and weighs 2.92 ounces, while the battery provides no more than 350 hours of stand-by time.

As for the price, you should know that the Samsung VX7100 is expected to be sold for approximately $50 ($49.99, to be more precise), but only if you’re willing to sign a 2 year contract agreement. The price is what you get after a $50 mail-in rebate. The retail price, on the other hand, is of $219.99.
