LG KT610 with Nokia’s S60 Software Announced




Several leading cell phone manufacturers are using Nokia’s S60 software implementing it into their Symbian-based handhelds and we can enumerate LG phones, Nokia’s, Samsung and so on, and at the Mobile World Congress were announced six new models with this software licensed.
These are Nokia N96, Nokia N98, Nokia 6220 classic, Nokia 6210 Navigator, Samsung G810 and the LG KT610 which I will talk about right now.

LG KT610 with Nokias S60 Software Announced


Running on the S60 mobile platform with integrated widget support to enhance the user experience allowing the creation of personal web experiences, the LG KT610 mobile phone that will be released in May, supports 2G and 3G networks and has a 2.4-inch TFT display of 256K colors and a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.
It has also a secondary external display in mono color measuring 1.45 inches and a full QWERTY keyboard type.



The cell phone supports MP3 playback, and comes with a built-in 2MP camera with video recording capability and a secondary VGA camera for video calls.
The user can store all the captures images, videos and music on the 64MB shared memory and on a microSD card.

LG KT610 is a cell phone with lots of features and applications running on the Symbian OS v9.2 with the S60 rel. 3.1 software, including GPS receiver, Java, voice command, document viewer, photo editor, handsfree, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, USB, e-mail, instant messaging, Internet browsing via HTML, games, and it is powered by a standard Li-Ion battery.
