LG LX260 Rumor Shipment Halted
Posted by: Sierra in LG, Sprint

The specialists have discovered some important issues at the contact links between the keyboard and the rest of the internal parts of this phone.
As certain keys were pressed, the firmware can be completely erased.

The company recommends to those that already got the phone to avoid pressing any key until the phone’s startup process is completely finished.
LG is currently working to solve this problem and is developing a new firmware that will be available for download over-the-air once it’ll be finalized and approved, while the halted units will restart to ship once they will be fixed.

This is not the first time such a thing happens with an LG phone available through Sprint, and the previous problem was fixed relatively-fast with the phones being replaced for free by the company.
