LG Reveal fashion phone launched by Bell Canada with Shimmer Kit

The South Korean company LG Electronics and Bell Canada, a major telecommunications company, have announced a new stylish fashion-phone called LG Reveal, which reminds of a make-up compact. The device was unveiled along with two other cell phones, LG Dare and LG Voyager, during the L’Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto. LG’s Fall Fashion collection made its runway debut during a technology-infused Carlie Wong fashion show on the runway in Nathan Philips Square.

“My Spring/Summer 2009 collection is all about bringing quality construction, attention to detail and luxurious pieces to the fashion world, which is exactly what LG is bringing to technology”, said designer Carlie Wong. “I want the women who wear my clothes to feel feminine, yet empowered and unstoppable. She’s the Glamorous Gangster and an LG cell phone is her hottest accessory”.

Fortunately, Canadians won’t have to wait until the spring/summer to get their hands on these three new iconic LG phones, as they will be available at Bell and TELUS in the coming months.

LG Reveal, which will be soon available from Bell, is designed, of course, for the modern fashion conscious women, and sports a flowery purple and black design. Now, the phone is equipped with a 2.4 inch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities, EV-DO support, Bluetooth connectivity and speakerphone.

But the good news doesn’t end here: the handset will be offered with an exclusive Swarovski Crystal Bluetooth headset as part of the LG Shimmer Kit. This is quite an interesting feature that is meant to differentiate the device from other fashion mobile. The result should look appealing for the girls in their twenties. For each package that is to be sold, $5 will be donated to Fashion Cares.

There are no words on availability of the LG Reveal until now, but the rumored $149.95 is a real bargain for such a blinged-out device.
