Being very interested in the LG WINE’s 3G support and multiple phone features, NTT DOCOMO, the mobile communications company that brought the world’s first 3G service based on W-CDMA in 2001, decided to launch the cool cell phone on the Asian market, in collaboration with KT Freetel, mobile communications service provider, under the name FOMA L706ie.



LG WINE has a simple and elegant clamshell-style design and it will be available in Japan in August and in South Korea in September.
It features a 2.2-inch LCD display, large buttons, built-in 1.3MP camera, large character format, alarm, schedule, voice recorder and MP3 player.



It is expected at an affordable cost.
