According to the Nokia Betalabs, the Green Explorer “is a multi-channel service where people dedicated to a sustainable lifestyle can explore and enjoy the world”.



To be more precise, the service gives us all the possibility to share with other people the information we have at our disposal, to guide and communicate with regard to the eco-friendly ways of traveling. The only thing one should do is to sign up to the site and then you can start enjoy the experience brought by the Nokia Green Explorer. This means you can share eco tips, you can also share photos, you can ask all sorts of questions regarding the subject, and you can add comments and tips and also rank them. There is another feature that might interest you: the map, which includes images meant to help users visualize the destinations.



We’re talking for the moment about the beta version of the service which has one fundamental purpose and one purpose only, to help people live a green lifestyle. You can understand by this tips referring to the local recycling instructions or local data concerning food, eco-friendly places, eco-friendly modes of transport, costs, time to the destinations, CO2 emissions and so on.
