Samsung Messager


Samsung Messager, aka SCH-r450, is a new cool cell phone released by Samsung with features designed to make Internet browsing and wireless communication on the go easier. It is available via MetroPCS, a telecommunications company from the United States that provides attractive plans starting at $30 per month for unlimited local calls, long distance calls, text messaging, voice mail, global text messaging, email, web access, picture messaging, premium directory assistance, MapQuest Mobile, and Instant Messaging, all with no contract. MapQuest is a useful service delivering step-by-step driving and walking directions, multi-point directions when you have to stop in several places during your trip, 16 million points of interest, full-color maps of US and Canada with zooming, Send to Cell feature with which you can plan a route on your computer and then send it to your cell phone, and advanced routing options.



Samsung Telecommunications America’s Messager handset is a bar cell phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard coming out from a side, offering an ergonomic way of staying in touch with friends.

Samsung Messager comes in black and has a built-in 1.3MP camera, email, Instant Messaging, voice recognition technology, stereo Bluetooth, speakerphone, MP3 music player, microSD slot to expand the internal 20MB memory and add more media up to 2GB, messaging services, and a 2.1-inch TFT display of 262K colors and a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, which is large enough for writing messages, read emails and browse the web.
The user can open files or close tasks using voice commands recognized by the speech recognition technology enabled in the handset.



Samsung Messager mobile instant messenger measures 4.4 x 2 x 0.7 inches at 4.58 ounces and features also an external black&white display, up to 4 hours of talk time, 250 hours of standby, and camera functions like self-timer, multi-shot, photo effects, economy mode for medium quality pictures. The Night Shot mode is meant to create pictures of the same quality in low light conditions, like inside the house or out during night, as in a sunny day.

It is available at a price of $199 and you can add optional accessories such as a cool case, holster, Bluetooth headset, Bluetooth car kit, travel charger, and charms.
