The W450 features a durable clamshell design and a rubberized outer outfit which allows the users to better hold the device. A chin bar, on the other hand, placed at the base of the phone lets them clip it to a belt or pack. Aimed at people with active lives, the device comes in two color versions, alpine white and black slate, combined with canary yellow or mandarin accents. The W450 is also equipped with the Mayo Clinic In Touch software 2, an interesting application that helps users identify symptoms and first aid tips for all sorts of indispositions that occur in the most unexpected way possible.



Dennis Burke, vice president, Sales, Motorola Mobile Devices, said that “the MOTOACTV W450 is designed to meet the needs of today’s mobile consumers, from the great outdoors to the corporate jungle”. In addition, he said that “with its sturdy exterior and feature-packed interior, this device will quickly become the phone of choice for people with an active lifestyle”.

As far as technical features are concerned, the phone includes a 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom. More than that, the user is given the opportunity to share their experiences via messaging or email. For a better audio experience, the W450 is provided with the CrystalTalk technology and quad-band connectivity. This way, users will be heard loud and clear while sharing their latest adventurous stories to their dearest ones from almost any corner of the earth. The hands-free connectivity is possible by pairing the W450 with a compatible stereo Bluetooth enabled headset.



On the other hand, the phone has a built-in MP3 player which allows customers to listen to music whatever they might be doing. Music can be enjoyed with either 2.5 mm jack compatible wired headphones or with wireless Bluetooth stereo headphones. The W450 features a microSD memory card slot that provides the possibility to expand storage with no more than 2GB.
