Motorola announced a new cool cell phone specially equipped and designed for music lovers, with the ModeShift technology that allows you to transform the phone into a real music player with just a touch of a button.

It features the innovative haptic technology for a tactile response to your touch, without the need to press, FastScrool navigation wheel when you need to scroll through hundreds of songs or your contact list, CrystalTalk technology that delivers the best sound clarity when someone calls you, and the Windows Media Player 11 support with the ability to transfer music files from your computer to the phone.

Other characteristics of MOTOROKR E8 are the quad-band GPRS/EDGE support, a nice 2-inch QVGA display, FM radio and Song ID, but the most interesting feature is the fact that when it is OFF, its surface is so smooth and the leys are not visible at all, while after powering it ON, you can see the virtual numbered pad.

Then, if you press on the virtual music key, the keypad disappears like magic, being replaced by the music player keys.
As it is a music phone, it has 3D stereo sound enhanced by the two-channel audio and the equalizer.

Its internal memory allows you to store up to 2GB of songs, pictures or whatever you like, and in case you need more space, you may add another 4GB with a microSD card.
