Motorola Hint Reviews
Posted by: CameraPhonesPlaza in Motorola
Even if the Motorola Hint QA30 has a weird design it has a high-resolution display, good music player and 3.5mm headset jack. On the bad side there is the controls and the keyboard that is a bit hard to use in some cases.
The specs are good but the design might attract some question marks and set some users aside. But we shall take a closer look and after this review you will draw your own conclusions.

Square phones seemed out of touch but apparently after seeing what big hit were other competitors with such design Motorola went for it and created this square Hint QA30. It is also a slide design with full keyboard and it is priced at $229. It measures 3.32 inches by 2.43 inches by 0.6 inch and it weights 4.12 ounces. The construction is solid and the combination of black and red are wisely picked. The display is pretty big with normal color support (65,000 hues) and the 320x240 pixel resolution turns out to offer bright colors. You can navigate through the menu easily; can change the backlight time and the brightness.
You won’t be able to secure best the battery cover and this is where many complain. The navigation controls are still and the OK button is a bit raised up. In order to access the menu you will have to press the left soft key. You also might consider the navigation buttons to be tiny and hard to use. The Talk and End buttons are a bit narrow, best you try this phone out to finalize your buying. Being a square phone and having such dimensions Motorola could have focused more on the design of the keyboard.

Moving on, the phone book can store 700 contacts and for each you can additionally add 5 more phone numbers, e-mail address, birthday, street address and URL. Like other phone you can set up groups and put for each separate ringtones and pictures. There is the vibrate mode, alarm clock, calculator, speakerphone, notepad and a datebook. Other features include Bluetooth, SMS and MMS, voice dialing and voice recorder. You can connect your Motorola Hint to your computer using the USB cable and thus get music files, transfer photos and so on. It has a 2 megapixels camera with five resolutions and the photo quality is pretty good. It does not have a flash so you better take photos only when there is enough light. Internal memory is 128MB and you can get a microSD card and add up to 8GB to have enough room for everything. Having more memory allows you to personalize your phone with themes, ringtones, wallpapers and clock formats.

The reception is good and the speakerphone is pretty loud. You have the possibility to set up a 3G network. For music listening you better use headphones as the external speakers don’t deliver exceptional quality. In talk time the battery can go up to 4.5 hours and in stand-by 15 days. The Motorola Hint QA30 is a good choice if you like the design and are satisfied with the features it brings.
