Motorola i776w – another clamshell cell phones story

In their attempt to increase the iDEN “familyâ€, Motorola has revealed a brand new device, launched under the name of Motorola i776w, which is a clamshell cell phone provided with the one-to-one push-to-talk technology. This is the most recent slim handset that combines the iDEN technology with a VGA camera and Bluetooth Wireless Technology. The result, as you can see in the pictures, is a fashionable clamshell. Packed in a slim, but stylish design, the handset is equipped with two displays, both with 64k colors.

The clamshell features an integrated VGA-quality camera that allows you to enjoy taking pictures of your loved ones and sharing them whenever you like to. When it comes, on the other hand, to the Bluetooth Wireless Technology, it allows hands-free and short-range wireless communication. All you have to do is to use a Bluetooth enabled headset that is compatible with the device and “wireless uploading/downloading to or from a computerâ€.

It seems that the Motorola i776w is available through Boost Mobile, a Canada-based mobile phone service which is owned by Sprint, for a retail price of $100 (excluding taxes).
