Motorola never managed to come up with a phone to match the RAZR success, but now they are on a good path. They unveiled the Motorola RAZR 2 which looks promising. The new RAZR is slimmer than its predecessor with 2mm and features a 2.2” QVGA internal screen, 2” external screen, 2 megapixel camera, HTML browser, external touch sensitive display with music controls. An interesting feature is Crystal Talk, which adjusts the volume according to the environmental noise.

The phone will have different names, depending on their band support: V9 for 3G HSDPA, V9m for EVDO/CDMA and V8 for GSM network. The Motorola RAZR 2 is expected to be released in July.
