New Samsung cellular phones
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Samsung
In the past couple of weeks Nokia focused its attention on its range of mid-end phones, but also on the low-end ones, which is a good thing in the present context, when everything is unstable and quite alarming for the mankind.

I’m not sure whether Samsung is following the Finnish company’s footsteps, but one thing’s for sure: the South Korean company has made up its mind and we will get to see more and more such devices, because, after all, cheap doesn’t have to necessarily be bad.
So, the latest Samsung cellular phones that have made their appearance on the Web these days are the S6700 and the C5510. Both of them are slider cell phones that are expected to start selling sometime during this summer.

The first one is the Samsung S6700, which resembles very much the S7350 model, which you might have seen back in February, when the device was unveiled. The phone comes with a 2.4 inch TFT display (it doesn’t have touch sensitive capabilities) with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and 16 million colors.

Other specs include quad band GSM connectivity, HSDPA, a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, FM radio with RDS, an internal memory of no more than 120MB and microSDHC card slot for expandable memory.
The credit for the live picture of the S6700 should be given to GSM Help Desk.
As for the second handset, the Samsung C5510 is interesting enough, due to its internal memory of 512MB, which is quite a lot, especially for a low-end phone. The other features include quad band GSM connectivity, a 2.2 inch QVGA display with 262k colors, then a music player for music addicts and FM radio with RDS.
Enough is enough. I hope you didn’t expect me to give you a number or two (the prices, I mean), because I won’t. Not because I don’t want to, but because I do not have this information at my disposal. Not yet.
