New Symbian Sony Ericsson Phone to come
Posted by: Vlad Balan in Sony Ericsson
A Symbian Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot mobile phone has chances of seeing a release sometime in the future. Although there is no official announcement, information that the producer is looking for experts to provide solutions for introducing the best applications has leaked.
With the recent expansion of Linux, Windows Mobile has been set back by strong competitors. These alternative operatin systems offer the advantage that they can turn a personal handset into a customizable device.
Apparently Sony Ericsson likes this idea as well, as they have asked for Symbian developers to come work for them, as the company needs all the help they can get with the bringing of new innovative solutions.
The specialists recruited are to work at the company's quarter in Kista, Sweden. In a newspaper ad, Sony Ericsson says: "Our goal is to make Sony Ericsson the top player in our business, and the market feedback shows that we are on the right path. Exciting features such as Walkman and Cybershot enable our customers to be productive and entertained when they're on the move".
Sony Ericsson is starting work on a project that deserves attention, as there are high chances for it to be a new Cyber-Shot, although it will take some time before we will be able to see it on the market.
