Posted by: Sierra in InfoSonics, Mobile World Congress 2008

InfoSonics, one of the US and Latin America mobile solutions providers will present its verykool branded cell phones during Mobile World Congress 2008 in Spain, the annual trade show that will take place between February 11-14 in Barcelona.
The cell phones planned to be unveiled at the show integrate three major technologies: HSDPA, EDGE and GPRS, and one of the models is a 3G phone with septa band, meaning four GSM bands and three UMTS bands.

Joseph Ram, the President and Chief Executive Officer of InfoSonics talks about a new product line-up with new features but several cell phones are still in final testing stages, while a few others are in development, but all will start shipping in the next months.

The 2008 verykool collection will come in a unique design targeting the young buyers and will feature “high speed connectivity to the carrier networks, touch screen displays, video players, high mega pixels cameras, e-mail access, PC Sync, expansion memory slots; and GSM tri-band or quad-band 'world phone' standards," said Joseph Ram.

You may visit the verykool official website but you won’t find detailed description of this new line-up, as the materials are still prepared for publishing, so we'll keep you in touch with the latest news about them after the trade show starts.
