Nokia and Wild Wonders of Europe
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Nokia
Nokia has always been involved in all sorts of innovative projects that were meant to not only bring the company a plus of sympathy, but also to have them in the middle of the most important issues of the society.

The latest collaboration of Nokia is a very unique agreement with a photographic initiative, called Wild Wonders of Europe, which is a pan-European one. The project is impressive because it brings together a great number of top photographers of the European continent, more than 70, to be more precise, that hail from 18 different countries.
There will be more than 100 assignments that are targeted at approximately 48 European countries. The beginning of this initiative was sometime last year and aims at being “the world’s most spectacular wildlife and nature show ever seen”.

But what will the role of Nokia will be in this agreement? It seems that the Finnish company promised to help photographers to accomplish their missions by giving them the devices they need in order to keep in touch, to capture more and more images, to upload both the images and the videos, and, of course, to share their stories via Ovi Share.
“We are teaming up with the very best partners in each field and with Nokia we have certainly achieved this. We are delighted that Nokia has joined the programme and can see them helping us reach our goal of revealing the amazing richness and variety of our own European natural heritage to the 700 million Europeans and to the rest of the world”, said the Managing Director of Wild Wonders of Europe, Staffan Widstrand.
For those who are interested in more details about the project, can go to the project’s official website and check it out.
