Nokia E52 for budget-conscious people
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Nokia
Sometimes companies don’t know what to do in order to give their products the perfect entrance in the world outside, an entrance marked by fireworks, applauses, special events and a fanfare singing and blessing the new “childâ€. And it’s understandable, after all, because this is the way these guys think they should celebrate a work they’re very proud of.

But there are those times when life seems to be unfair and some handsets (because we’re talking about the mobile phone world) are not given a special treatment at their debut. This is, for example, what happened to the latest Eseries smartphone, the E52, a handset that wasn’t cheered as it should have been.
It’s true, the phone isn’t a ground-breaking one when it comes to the design, it lacks the QWERTY keyboard, but it’s still unfair. The Nokia E52 is a slim candybar that comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA display, the new email user interface from the Nokia E75, GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera, noise cancellation, and, of course, the Ovi services. Not to mention the HSDPA support for up to 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA for no more than 2 Mbps.

One of the main advantages of this handset consists of the “impressive battery life†that is said to provide up to 8 hours of talk time if you fully charge the battery once. And yeah, it’s quite impressive, compared to other cell phones.
As for the availability, the Nokia E52 is expected to go on sale in the second semester of this year under an estimated retail price of 245 Euros (the price is before taxes and subsidies).
