Two of the latest Nokia phones, the Nokia E71 and Nokia E66, are optimized for professionals mobile users with advanced email functionality, high-speed HSDPA transfers and access to the Ovi service, which provides maps, music and file sharing.
Nokia E66 is available for pre-orders in Grey Steel and White Steel, at a price of £328, and its availability will start next month. It is a multimedia computer, same as the E71, featuring high speed 3G, WLAN, advanced mobile email, A-GPS, built-in 3.2MP camera, and multimedia player with music dedicated keys.
The curved slider measures 107.5 x 49.5 x 13.6 mm at 121 grams, and sports a large 2.4-inch display with 240 x 320 resolution and 16.7 million colors capability. It gives you access to its features via a numeric keypad, dedicated one-touch keys for home, calendar, contacts and email, speaker dependent and speaker independent voice dialing, accelerated scrolling with intelligent NaviKey, as well as illuminated one-touch keys.
For connectivity it provides microUSB and a 2.5 mm audio jack type, while it powers from a BL-4U 1000 mAh battery providing up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of talk time in GSM, 3 hours and 30 minutes talk time in WCDMA, 264 hours of standby in GSM, and 336 hours standby in WCDMA.

Components of the handset include hot-swappable microSD memory card slot of up to 8GB, 110MB free memory, Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 support, Flight Mode, infrared, Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate, printing, VoIP, Push to talk, conference calling with up to 6 participants, multiple SMS deletion, text-to-speech message reader, Windows Live Messenger, support for e-mail attachments, Nokia Mobile VPN, Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, Nokia Mini Map Browser, Nokia Mobile Search, Nokia Maps, FM radio, voice commands, 2 customizable home screen modes, Symbian Os 9.2 with S60 software, and Flash Lite 3.0.
The built-in camera has a CMOS sensor, 4x digital zoom, autofocus, LED flash, red-eye reduction, white balance modes, scene modes, color tone modes, full-screen viewfinder with grid, and landscape orientation. It can also record videos at 22 frames per second using a 4x digital zoom.
Complying with the EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and the China legislation "Management Methods on the Prevention and Control of Pollution caused by Electronic Information Products", Nokia E66 removed harmful materials such as Asbestos, Beryllium Oxide, Mercury and Benzene, in addition to its low power consuming AC charger, which is less than 300mV, on a scale of 0mV to 500mW.
