Nokia E71 PDA Without Touchscreen
Posted by: Sierra in Nokia

It’s amazing to see how far the smartphones evolved and the release of Nokia E71 proves that it’s possible to integrate the functionalities of a personal digital assistant into a high-end smartphone without touchscreen.
Usually, touch-sensitive displays such as the one encountered at the Apple iPhone pose a small problem – they slower the tasks operation– and that’s why touchscreen handsets are destined to those who tend to look more for the fashion aspect than for functionality.
A QWERTY keyboard with a fast response time while typing is the best solution for business people who need to stay in touch with colleagues and work on the go. It increases the productivity with a wide range of advanced applications that allow you to perform more tasks than other mobile handsets.

One such gadget is the Nokia E71 PDA released in June this year. It gives the user access to professional messaging such as Microsoft Exchange for corporate email, support for email accounts from over 1,000 Internet Service Providers including Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo!, as well as support for Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email and third party email solutions.
The user interface allows you to change between two basic modes, home and work, each with different options matching your needs.
Nokia E71 PDA with no touchscreen has the Microsoft Mobile Office suite pre-loaded with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF, as well as the Ovi service with maps, music and media sharing for a fun experience.
The Assisted GPS technology works together with Nokia Maps in order to provide easy navigation directions, while the built-in 3.2MP digital camera with autofocus captures high-resolution pictures on the go.
You can browse the web at high speeds via the HSDPA connectivity and store all your media in 8GB of storage space provided by an external memory card. It will be safe in the handset thanks to the built-in encryption functionality.

Nokia E71 sports a stainless steel case and is available in Grey Steel and White Steel at a price of £330 in the UK.
