Posted by: Sierra in Nokia

The famous Nokia N95 8GB is now optimized for 850/1900 MHz HSDPA networks in US, as the company announced in a press release.
Americans are welcoming the latest trend in the cell phone industry brought by Nokia as a mixture between speed, content and technology.
The phone has a large 2.8-inch QVGA display supporting 16 million colors, and integrates 8GB of memory, supporting A-GPS positioning.
It is a combination of mobile phone and multimedia computer having a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus, WLAN support, and the 8 GB of storage where you can place up to 20 hours of video or 6000 audio files.

Nokia N95 8GB is ready for the upcoming N-Gage gaming delivering 3D graphics.
More than that, it supports Nokia Share Online 3.0 through Nokia Download, a service that allows you to upload pictures and videos in one-click to websites like Flickr in order to share them with your online friends.
Also, it provides a range of personalization applications brought with the Symbian S60 3rd Edition software including navigation, games, entertainment and productivity features.
Other features include widget support for customizing online content, access to Yahoo Search and MobiPocket Reader from Amazon.
Nokia N95 8GB retails at $749 and will start shipping across United States in the next few months.

"Today's savvy consumer wants an all in one device that enables them to customize and share content immediately with their social communities. The Nokia N95 8GB fills this void as one of the most advanced wireless devices currently on the market in North America," declared Bill Plummer, Vice President, Go-to-Market, Nokia Americas. "With the addition of HSDPA for ultra-fast connectivity, the Nokia N95 8GB delivers on the promise of a multimedia computer in one surprisingly small package."
