Nokia N95 Specs
Posted by: CameraPhonesPlaza in Nokia
Nokia N95 8GB comes in a black case and it has suffered significant changes compared to its predecessor, Nokia N95. The most important change is the internal memory, 8 GB (8.1 GB - because there are 100 MB memory used for messages, ringtones, and others). The display has increased by nearly 1cm in the diagonal and has a QVGA resolution and 16 million colors.
N95's weak battery model was replaced with one better than ever, leading to increasing stand-by time. The case was also changed; Nokia gave up on using a cover for the camera. Nokia N95 8GB has a Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery, much better than the 950 mAh in the original model (Nokia N95).
Fortunately, the GPS is not missing, though it was a rumor that they will give up on this function to make room for more internal memory.
The memory card slot is not present because the model has an 8GB internal memory, enough to handle a large number of images, videos, songs, applications.

Some of the differences between the Nokia 95 8GB model (also called Nokia 95-2) and the original N95 are:
• the black color casing
• the screen is larger (2.8" to N95 8GB and 2.6" to N95)
• the main buttons are smaller on N95 8GB
• the multimedia buttons are now in relief
• the microSD slot is gone, the 8GB integrated memory is more than enough
• the new N95 8GB has doubled the RAM memory from 64MB RAM to 128MB RAM
The operating system is a Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, just like N95 had. The construction of the phone is very solid; let us not forget that N95 8GB is a double slider.
The camera is unfortunately a weak thing of this phone. Even if it has 5 MP resolution and Carl Zeiss lens, it does not have a xenon flash so I would not recommend to take pictures at night or in very low light. At the maximum resolution, the pictures were about 600-800KB, which means it has high compression.
