Nokia Smartphone

The Nokia N82 is another member of the Nokia N Series, a series with the most powerful mobile phones ever made. It is the first Nokia model which comes with a Xenon Flash instead of a LED Flash. Like all N models, it runs a Symbian operating system and has a S60 platform base. In the standard package you will get the mobile phone, a BP-6MT (1050 mAh) battery, a charger, a headset, a microUSB cable, a microSD card with 2 GB of free space and a Video-connecting cable.
Being a predecessor of Nokia N73, this Nokia smartphone has a “Candy-Bar” design with a nice finish. The case is made of resistant plastic having 112 x 50 x 17.3 mm in dimensions and 114 grams in weight. Even if the design is not one of the best made by Nokia, this mobile phone looks nice. Being available in only one color (Silver Titan), it looks very solid. Anyway, with small dimensions, you will never complain about it being too heavy or uncomfortable. On the top side you will find the Power On/off button and a 3.5 mm jack. On the sides you will find a Gallery button, a camera shutter and a volume rocker plus a microUSB port and a charger port. The front side is occupied by a 2.4 inch TFT display and a full numerical pad.

The numerical pad can be a bit uncomfortable for you because the keys have small sizes, but after several days of practice, you will get used to them. Even if this numerical pad is not very recommended for intense writing, the keys offer a positive feedback and are very well illuminated, so they are visible even if you are in a dark room. As we said, this Nokia smartphone comes equipped with a 2.4 inch TFT display. It has a native resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and supports 16 million colors. You will be able to see clear images with great colors every time.

A strong point for the Nokia N82 is certainly the camera. This Nokia smartphone comes with an integrated 5 Megapixels camera capable of taking photos at a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and recording VGA clips at a speed of 30 fps. Even if this is not the first model which has such a big sensor, the thing that makes it special is the Xenon Flash. Being more powerful than a LED Flash, it helps you take photos with an increased clarity and great quality. For connectivity, like all N models, the Nokia N82 has everything you want. It comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPS with A-GPS support and TV-out. Also, it is a Quad-Band device and supporting GSM, EDGE, GPRS and 3G, you will never complain about network coverage. To be capable to manage all these features, the Nokia N82 is powered by an AMR11 332 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM. The internal memory is a bit low, only 100 MB, but thanks to the microSD card slot, you will never run out of free space.

An important aspect for a great smartphone is the battery life. The standard Li-Pol 1050 mAh battery is capable of keeping it on for 5 hours of conversations and up to 225 hours in standby mode. Even if these values are a bit low, for a price of $269, we can only say that this Nokia smartphone is amazing.
