This happens in Windows Media Player 11 on your desktop. From what i read in the user manual here http://www.o2.co.uk/deviceinfo/device-pdfs/o2cocooneng.pdf you can use the Bluetooth for copyright protected content, so I'd use the USB cable to transfer the playlists from the PC to my phone, and play them from Music Player/Playlists. It would be easier for me to check the phone's menu if I'd have the phone. If I'd want to choose random songs from different playlists in the phone to make a new folder with my favorites I'd try a "right click" button and "add to playlist or to the music player.
