As it was announced, the HTC Touch Pro2 is expected to become available starting the summer of 2009. It’s not just a rumor, as you must be accustomed to already, because the news was given to the public by HTC itself, when they decided to officially announce the device along with the Touch Diamond2.

Because this is how things usually happen with this type of companies and highly anticipated devices, we haven’t had at our disposal information about the price of the Touch Pro2.



But it seems that the Taiwanese company decided it’s time for us to know how much it will cost. Therefore, according to HTC the phone was designed for business professionals and comes with the TouchFLO 3D, Push Internet technology, a high-resolution 3.6 inch widescreen VGA display, a QWERTY keyboard, expandable memory, a zoom bar that is touch-sensitive and a better battery life. Not to mention the Straight Talk technology which provides an experience based on integrated email, voice and speakerphone.



“The HTC Touch Pro2 and HTC Touch Diamond2 introduce a mobile communication experience that simplifies how we communicate with people in our lives whether through voice, text or email”, said Peter Chou, the President and CEO of HTC Corp. In addition, he said that “HTC is delivering the latest, cutting-edge sophistication in a broad portofolio of mobile phones that improve how people live, work and communicate”.

These are enough reason for the HTC Touch Pro2 to be sold for approximately SGD $1,088 and $1,328.
