Orange mobile phone available in UK

It seems that this is the remembrances day because it’s the second time for me to ask you to remember a cell phone that I told you about in the recent past. First it was the Samsung Trance, now it’s the Orange Vegas. Now, if you managed to bring the information about it in the present, then you must already know that Vegas is another affordable phone, a touchscreen one, that appeared in the spotlight a month ago or so.

The point is that the United Kingdom is the first country to enjoy the presence of the Vegas in the shop windows. The phone works on a dual band GSM/GPRS and features a 2.4 inch TFT display (a touchscreen one, as I said), a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth (because it’s a must these days), an MP3 player, FM radio, 64MB of internal memory and the possibility for you to increase it with no more than 1GB.

As you can see for yourselves, the new Orange mobile phone is a basic one and wasn’t designed to impress customers for its features. You can buy the device from Orange for only £48.50 (which means approximately $71), being a Pay As You Go phone. And you can choose from two color versions, black and pink. What you should know is that the pink version will be exclusively sold by Orange.

Unfortunately, this is available only in the United Kingdom, but it is expected to start selling in other Orange markets also.
