Well this is interesting, a Sony Ericsson slider Walkman phone. Probably they thought its time to set a new shape to their Walkman phone. And to be honest they made it pretty cool, especially that they made it street style. What does that mean? Well, first we were confused too. Street style means that, beside playing music, taking and storing pictures or playing games, you can also do something different with your
Sony Ericsson W580, like track steps, count burnt calories and monitor your running speed/distance/time, with its built-in applications.
At only 14 mm width, the
Sony Ericsson W580 comes with a 512 MB Micro Memory Card, that enables you to store up to 470 tracks in eAAC+ codec, a 2-megapixel camera, a 2.0†QVGA 262K TFT screen.
The Sony Ericsson W580 Walkman phone is a 2.5G, Quad Band EDGE device(850/900/1800/1900) and will be available later this year.

Chinese company Hi-Tech Wealth has presented their integrated solar panel solution during the CeBiT 2007. Unlike the solar panel charger, the integrated solar panel is built on the phone directly. You can just place the phone under the sun to earn your talk time when needed. The unit presented by Hi-Tech Wealth is able to give you 25 mins of talk time after a 40 mins of sun bath. That's not bad consider the sun is free and prey the battery doesn't run out at night!
Features of the S116 includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, a memory card slot, and a 320 x 240 QVGA displayApparently the phone will be available in China next month.

Smokers, get ready for one strange device. The Chinese invented what seems to be the first Mobile Phone Cigarette Pack. Cigarette King 3838 has a unique cigarette pack shape and, beside the VGA Camera and the MP3 player it has a place at the back where you can keep 7 cigarettes, for rainy days. The phone also comes with a free lighter and a pack of real cigarettes.
Of course, the phone has printings warning you that smoking is bad for your health. Apparently the phone costs around $200 but we have no idea if it will come out of China.

This leaked picture shows what is probably the next Nokia 7088, which was just approved by the FCC and it doesn't look bad at all. There are no specs available, but the phone looks like a slider with a 128x160 64k TFT display and by its colors, it looks like a L'Amour phone. We'll just have to wait and see.
