There are about 71 htc cellphones but in this article I’m going to write about  the best rated mobile phones released by HTC. If I had to describe nokia n95 and iPhone in some few words I could say that these are the most performance smart phones on the market.

Apple iPhone 3G is a next generation phone that allows users to enjoy a very fast connection speed, image quality, features, media and an interesting design. iPhone 3G is a compact and perfect dimensioned phone and that’s what makes it very easy to handle. This phone is available in two variants in terms of internal memory and color (8GB - black and shiny or 16 GB – white or shiny black). Apple iPhone 3G has a built-in good sized screen with 3.5 inches diagonally and 16 million colors. It is equipped with 3G HSDPA technology whish allows users to surf the Internet with pretty high speed. This new model from Apple has built-in the EDGE and  GPRS technologies and this allows the transfer of any information. But another way of transferring information is represented by the Bluetooth and USB options. It also supports Wi-Fi technology.

Apple iPhone 3G has coverage on all GSM networks: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 3G HSDPA UMTS. Battery life is acceptable and provides up to 300 hours of stand by and 5 hours of talk time in conditions of 3 G and 10 hours in condition of a 2 G. It has an integrated GPS navigation system allowing you to guide efficient and fast. Apple iPhone 3G has a Microsoft support and has also a build-in function called Mobile Me that allows synchronization of the phone with other compatible devices. With a build-in iPod, iPhone 3 G can easily replace an iPod Nano. Therefore, the music function is outstanding with very clear specifications. The camera has only 2 megapixels but the quality of the captured images compensates for any deficiency.



The iPhone has some amazing applications. And you can choose from several thousands at the App Store what application you want and just download it with one touch. Another good element is the integrated GPS receiver, with support A-GPS which brings increased speed to detect points of interest. Thanks to a generous 3.5 inch screen with multi touch interface, the iPhone is likely to surpass even dedicated GPS systems. All these new features could not be placed in the same slim housing of the old iPhone. The company from Cupertino had to enlarge a bit the magic box. iPhone 3 G is measuring 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm unlike 115 x 61 x 11.6 mm of the first phone made by Apple

So which one do you chose between n95 and iPhone?

Which are the latest Sony Ericsson phones? Well… let me start with the XPERIA X10.

XPERIA X10 is the first Android made by Sony Ericsson that was originally set to be launch on 18 January and now is pushed back to 19 February. With this phone we can really say that communication truly becomes entertainment. This smartphone is truly humanizing the way that people interact with their cell phones. Its dimensions of 119 x 63 x 13 mm and its weight of 135 grams make this smart phone looking pretty good. The size of the display is 4.0 inches, with scratch resistant surface, timescape/ mediascape UI, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, 480 x 854 pixels and is a TFT capacitive touchscreen with 65 K colors.

The memory of this phone has practically unlimited entries and fields and photo call on its phonebook and practically unlimited call records. The internal memory has 1 GB storage and 256 MB RAM with a micro SD up to 16 GB and a 8 GB card included.

The camera is 8 MP with 3268 x 2448 pixels, LED flash, autofocus and the features are geo-tagging, face and smile detection, image stabilization and touch focus. It also has video camera WVGA at 30 frames per second

Sony Ericsson also releases the new Wireless Stereo Headset with FM Radio MW600 with easy access control, a crystal clear OLED display, easy access controls  and RDS radio station information.

What about connectivity? Well… is as complete as possible. It has quad band, GSM, tri band HSDPA (900, 2100 and 1700 or 1900 MHz), Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, Remote Play, mini USB and audio jack of 3.5 mm. The battery is a Li- Po 1500 mAh, whose independence has not yet been disclosed.



Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available on white or black, starting with the first half of the year 2010, with an estimated retail price of $ 800. Anyway, it seems to be the most interesting mobile that operates with Android system.

While Samsung was making plans to release the first mobile phone with a 12 MP camera, those from Sony Ericsson, in silence, developed such a product. And they surprised the world when they presented Idou model, the first mobile phone with a 12 MP camera. Unfortunately Idou or Satio as it is also called, is not at the same height in the remaining specifications. The touch screen has a respectable diagonal of 3.5 inches (8.9 centimeters) and 16 M colors but a resolution of only 640 x 320 pixels.

Idou has the dimensions of 111 x 54 x 15 mm, it has an accelerometer, GPS, media player and radio with RDS. Its storage is on Memory Stick Micro memory cards. Connectivity: GSM quad band (850,900, 1800 and 1900 MHz), HSDPA dual band (900 and 2100 MHz), Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB.



But the camera, besides 12 MP sensor, also has autofocus, xenon flash and LED flash for shooting side at night. It recognizes faces of subjects, it realizes when they smile, and record the date and place at which each picture was made. And in addition there is a secondary VGA camera for video telephony. The operating system chosen by Sony Ericsson is Symbian S60 ed5.

Hardware configuration includes an ARM Cortex A 8 processor at 600 MHz, the PowerVR SGX dedicated graphics chip, 256 MB of RAM, 128 MB flash memory and the cards are really microSDHC up to 32 GB ( 8 GB one is included in the package). The battery is a Li-Po 1000 mAh, enough for 11 hours of talk or 15 days of stand by. Prices starts from $650.



Xperia X2 is another new sony ericsson. Its dimensions are 110 x 54 x 16 mm and the weight reached 155 grams. The LCD display measures 3.2 inches and 800 x 480 pixels with a resistive touch screen of 65 K colors. At connectivity it should be mentioned: GSM quad band (850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz), Wi-Fi b / g, Bluetooth 2.1, Micro USB, TV Out and 3.5 mm jack. And the built-in loudspeaker is stereo.

Inside it has a Qualcomm MSM 7200 CPU at 528 MHz, which has 256 MB of RAM available. The internal memory of 110 + 512 MB can be expanded through micro SD cards up to 16 GB. And head over all it is the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional with modified Xperia interface that is using the endowment accelerometer.



The main camera has an integrated 8 MP sensor, autofocus, 16x digital zoom, LED flash, geo-tagging, image stabilizer, and face recognition. Additionally it can also shoot in 848 x 480 resolution with 30 frames per second. For video telephony it has a 0.3 MP camera.

Sony Ericsson X2 is also a great media player, because knows how to play audio files MP3, WAV, eAAC + and WMA and MP4 video, Xvid, WMV9, H.263 and H.264. It has included Pocket Office, YouTube application and photo editor. It also has a slide out keyboard that helps you even more to control it. The battery Li-Ion 1500 mAh is sufficient for 10 hours of spoken or nearly 27 days of stand by (almost a month).



Another new sony ericsson is the Sony Ericsson Jalou Dolce and Gabbana which is one of a kind phone, made with 24 carat Gold. Its dimensions are 73 x 45 x 18,2 mm and its weight is 84 grams. It has two screens and it’s a limited edition phone. This mobile phone has a 3.15 MP camera with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It has MP3and MP4 player and a stereo FM radio as well. HSDPA connection gives to this phone the ability to surf the web with speed of up to 3.6 Mb per second. Another thing that women will love is the 2 inch QVGA display that turns into a mirror only if you press a button. The colors for the Jalou phone are Aquamarine Blue, Deep Amethust, Onyx Black and the limited Edition Dolce and Gabbana has the Rose Color.

Samsung Omnia is a smartphone that is easy to use. It has a ultra slim design of only 12.5 mm and is chrome. The phone comes with push email technology (new email is instantly and actively transferred to your mobile phone – when you have a new email you get a notification call from your email server). For those passionate about photography, this phone is equipped with 5 Mega Pixels camera with autofocus, which provides functions for detecting face and even smile, and automatic triggering. Its camera has also image stabilization, video, flash and a secondary camera for video call.

The first thing to take into account and also the most obvious is the display, a generous 3.2 inch touchscreen  that does not necessarily require a stylus so you could utilize it and it responds very specifically to the actions carried out with the finger. The main menu consists in a vertical bar located in the far left and it contains the so called widgets icons that launch your favorite applications running.

What you could like is that the menu runs in the vertical bar and does not cover all phone screen. When  you need one or more programs, you simply have to use the “drag and drop” technique to get them on the desktop and from there you can launch them with a simply click. When you don’t need them, you can use the same technique to remove them from that bar. Along with widgets, you can also find the classic interface Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and an “oldies” menu with several icons placed in a matrix.

Most importantly on a smartphone is the speed of execution and navigation, and Samsung Omnia can not disappoint you at this chapter. But it is true that if you want to run the menu this will be made with lower frame rates, not so fine as in the case of iPhone. Applications, most of them can be opened immediately with the exception of a photo editor (Frame Photo Editor) that runs a bit slower then the rest. The accelerometer works perfectly, passing from portrait to landscape mode and vice versa is accomplished accurately and with an interesting 3D graphic effects.



Internet connection is via HSDPA or Wi-Fi. Samsung Omnia comes with two preinstalled browsers, Opera Mobile and Internet Explorer. It has a very useful implementation- the zoom into the page. This can be made by drawing vertical lines (up and down directions) with your finger, into the far right of the touchscreen, were a bar will appear and that will show you how much you gradually increase or decrease the webpage.

Multimedia side is also very well set. Samsung Omnia is running XviD, DivX and other movie formats without giving you headaches because it was build with a lot of codecs. The camera produces pictures above the average cell in the same category. Once you captured an image, printing is easy trough Bluetooth to a printer that is equipped with this technology.

So it’s clear that Samsung Omnia is a great phone. And what could be more wonderful than personalizing your phone at will, with accessories available on the market.

Motorola is one of the most popular communications companies in the world and its role as a pioneer in the development of this industry is recognized worldwide.
