LG announces the fastest 3D Game Phone

LG 3D Game Phone

LG announced that it has developed the world's fastest "3D Game-Phone." The 3D Game-Phone is the first cell phone ever armed with a 1 million polygon/second graphic accelerator chip, which is five times faster than existing products with 200,000 polygon/second chips, and allows users to play games with more minute and realistic 3D graphics.

The folks at LG also said that it would begin marketing the product in Korea in the first half of this year, targeting game fanatics. Afterwards, it would put it on the North American and European markets as a high-priced, premium product.

Motorola MOTOFONE F3 gets FCC approval

MotoFONE F3 Phone

The Motorola MOTOFONE F3 is a slim phone on a budget. It is the manufacturer’s attempt to make a mass-seller phone for both entry-level users as a first-phone and for developing countries, but not suffering from the design. As it lacks any functionality but the basic, the phone features grayscale display and battery that should last for a long time between it has to be recharged again.

Although the manual of the phone gives us no indication on its carrier availability, we hope that the Motorola MotoFONE F3 will be offered by either of the major carriers in the States, as a free phone of course.

Verizon to launch entry-level Pantech PN-300 and Kyocera K323

Verizon entry level phones

Verizon Wireless announced two new entry-level phones. First one is the Pantech PN-300, a clamshell that has two displays, the internal of which supports 65k colors. It lacks camera and advanced multimedia features, as it is targeted to people who don’t want to spend much on their mobile phone.

It seems that the clamshell form-factor is the main selling point for entry-level devices, as the other phone Verizon Wireless will offer is also of this design – the Kyocera K323. This one is coming with internal antenna, built-in camera, and bluetooth, but it will also be one of the free phones the carrier will offer in its line.

It’s expected for the Pantech PN-300 to launch very soon, while the Kyocera K323 will be available later, but probably before the end of the year.
