Sagem brings the first Porsche Design phone
Posted by: Vlad Balan in Sagem

Porsche Design has teamed up with French based Sagem Communication, to create their first mobile phone, the P’9521. Uninspiring name apart, the P’9521 has certainly won our aesthetic approval with its minimalist design and “cool” materials such as the aluminium casing and mineral glass display.
As AutoUnleashed reports, the P'9521 comes equipped with a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash and zoom plus video recording capabilities. A double hinge made from aluminum enables the screen to be rotated through 180° – thus allowing the phone to be used as a digital camera. However, the P’9521’s most impressive feature is undoutthe fingerprint reader, which identifies the user and thus ensures secure access to personal data. In addition, the standard PIN code can also be replaced by a fingerprint. The P’9521 will be available from fall 2007 in Porsche Design Stores and specialist mobile phone retailers worldwide. The handset will not be sold in the US, Japan or Korea.
