Samsung C6625, a QWERTY keyboard phone

C6625 is just another Samsung cell phone that people can find in the shop windows these days. I know, I risk boring you to death with the numerous Samsung devices that I’ve wrote about in the past couple of days. But that’s the way things goes. It’s not my fault, after all, that Samsung proved itself to be a very prolific company in the beginning of this year.

Maybe some of you remember the Samsung C6620 that was sold on an exclusive basis by TIM, an Italian provider. And if you do, then you should know that the C6625 is very similar to the cell phone I’ve just mentioned, the differences being almost imperceptible.

The C6625 works with the Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard operating system, looking very much like another Samsung device, the BlackJack, just that this one is a little bit rounded. In addition, there’s a QWERTY keyboard that is very attractive to a certain segment of the public, the business cell phone users.

As far as the features are concerned, they include: a 2.6 inch non-touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording, tri-band connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz connectivity), HSDPA 2100 MHzconnectivity, integrated assisted GPS, stereo FM radio with RDS, stereo Bluetooth, an internal memory of 100MB and a microSDHC card slot for expandable memory.

Measuring 113.6 x 63 x 11.6 millimeters and weighing 107.7 grams, the QWERTY keyboard phone provides up to 420 minutes of talk time and up to 300 hours of stand-by time.

We don’t have the information about the availability of the cell phone across Europe, but what we know for sure is that the C6625 was seen at Expansys, where people can pre-order it for approximately $360.
