Samsung CLEO is the latest device designed and developed just for the ladies, which is expected to be available in November in Canada. The handset shomehow reminds us of a LG mobile phone, the Lotus, launched by Sprint in the US, but it has a more fashionable design, not to mention the pretty cool pattern on its front case.

Samsung Electronics Canada and Bell are dialing up high style with the launch of the ultimate must-have for any text-messaging maven – the Samsung CLEO.

This is a compact and discreet handset and has a unique style that can be easily be mistaken for a make-up compact. Bringing a touch of haute couture to text messaging, the CLEO is a statement for all of the fashion addicts out there, and it features a full QWERTY keyboard, the ability to view text messaging threads and color LCD screen. This fashion-forward device will be available in pink, champagne and blue, and is also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera, an integrated MP3 player, for music lovers, and supports 8 GB of expandable memory.



As I said it before, Bell Mobility is the company that will offer all CLEO color models across Canada, while another company, Solo Mobile (a brand owned and operated by Bell Mobility) will make available only the champagne CLEO.

More than that, “Samsung wanted to offer its fashion-forward customers a truly stylish and unique mobile experience and we have made that happen with the launch of the Samsung CLEO”.



Bell is also convinced that the phone is different from any other mobile devices; “The Cleo is a great cellphone capturing a uniquely elegant combination of form and function”, said Adel Bazerghi, Senior Vice President of Products at Bell. “Along with text messaging our clients will love using the QWERTY keyboard to send pictures messages and email, and access their favorite social networking sites”.
