For those who are impatient when it comes to the release of the Samsung Omnia Pro, which was intensely talked about up until this moment, we have some very good news: the phone is expected to be released sometime during this year, but we don’t know very well when.

It seems that the new Omnia Pro is actually another Samsung phone that people had the chance to see in a leaked picture a couple of days ago: the Samsung Louvre B7610, a device that runs on Windows Mobile 6.1. If back when we first saw that photo all we had were some rumors, now we have at our disposal a couple of official pictures and a live one.
As some of you already know, the Samsung Louvre (or Omnia Pro, however you might want to call it) comes with a wide 3.5 inches AMOLED touch sensitive display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a QWERTY keyboard that slides out, HSDPA/HSUPA, GPS and Wi-Fi with DLNA support, Bluetooth connectivity, 2 user interface – the Pro and the Media, that have a dedicated key that helps the user switch between the two, 800Mhz processor, a 5.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, TV out, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, microUSB, an internal memory of 1GB and a microSDHC card support for expandable memory of no more than 32GB. The phone comes with a 1500mAh battery.

The Samsung Omnia Pro is expected to make its appearance in the shelves sometime in August this year.
