Samsung Omnia goes to Canada
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Samsung
Even if there’s a brand new version of the Samsung Omnia, the Samsung Omnia HD i890, to be more precise, which is undoubtedly more advanced than the older one, but this doesn’t mean it must be all forgotten. After all, the phone is still a very nice device and it’s able to easily satisfy the most pretentious customers out there.

There was a touchscreen handset that was widely talked about in the past couple of days, being rumored to be released in Canada in the near future. And it seems that the mysterious phone is the Samsung Omnia.
The CDMA cell phone comes with the following features on board: EV-DO Rev A connectivity, a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, TV-out and Windows Mobile 6.1 support. But maybe you are already familiar with these features.
There is a teaser video already available that was recently released in the uncensored version. In addition, if you worry about the fact this is dust in the wind and nothing more, let me tell you that you can find the Samsung Omnia on the official website of Samsung Canada, which gives the news a little bit of credibility.
The phone is expected to become available via two Canadian carriers, Bell and Telus, but what we don’t know for the moment is when it will be released.
If you’re curious about the promo video, here it is, for you to cast a glance at it:
