Samsung S8000 Cubic

It seems that leaked photos are the latest trend when it comes to unofficially launching a cell phone these days. I don’t know why something like this happens more and more, but probably companies should be a little bit more careful as far as the confidentiality of their actions is concerned. Or maybe they must pay more attention to their employees, because they might be the main reason all of these photos are circulating over the Internet before the official release.

It’s no wonder that you, people, have the chance to see pictures of all sorts of devices, such as Samsung S8000, for example, that could be seen practically in the same time with another Samsung cell phone, the M8000. It’s just that when we had the photos at our disposal the information about the features were quite rudimentary.
But here we have the full features list of the S8000 which was published by a Russian website, Euroset, to be more precise. We must mention the fact that the list was removed.
Dubbed Cubic, the phone comes with quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), dual band UMTS connectivity (900/2100 MHz), a 3.1 inch touchscreen AMOLED display with 16M color and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth v2.1, assisted GPS, a media player and 3.5mm headset jack and an internal memory of 2GB.
The Samsung Cubic measures 108.9 x 53.5 x 11.9 millimeters and is provided with a 1,100 mAh battery.
What we know is that three Cubic handsets are expected to be launched sometime in the future, and it seems that the S8000 is the first if those three.
