Samsung S8300 UltraTouch in gold outfit

The Samsung S8300 was one of the spectacular phones the South Korean company launched at the 2009 edition of the Mobile World Congress and became available in the European markets starting March, this year.

Up until now, you could buy the phone in two color versions: Platinum Blue and Platinum Red, but from now on there will be another color added to the list of colors that you’ll be able to choose from. The new version is the Onyx Gold S8300, which is said to have a more luxurious look than its predecessors.

I hope you don’t expect other major changes, because the technical details are the same, similar to those that are “stuffed” within the original cell phone. The only and main difference consists of the gold outfit.

Therefore, the features you’ll have the chance to enjoy include: an AMOLED touch sensitive display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, HSDPA, an accelerometer, GPS functionality, Bluetooth 2.1, an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and D1 video recording capabilities at 30 frames per second (fps). As you probably know by now, the S8300 UltraTouch isn’t part of the smartphone party, which means it only comes with the TouchWiz user interface.

The details about the availability of this new version of the S8300 are not at our disposal right now, but we’ll keep you informed, so stay tuned!
