Virgin Mobile USA announced the upcoming Samsung Slash slider cell phone which is the first wireless phone introduced by the wireless plans without annual contracts provider.

It will be available soon at a suggested price of $79.99 in a slim form factor measuring 3.8 x1.8 x0.7 inches at 3oz, and featuring 3.5 hours of talk time, 170 hours of standby, built-in VGA camera, Bluetooth, Internet access, email, Instant Messaging, Speakerphone, voice dialing, Spanish language support, and TTY/TDD enabled.
The future users will be able to benefit from all its capabilities on a bright color display and store up to 499 contacts with 5 phone numbers, 2 email addresses and one website each.
Next come the pre-installed games which are: Gameloft Jukebox and Superscape Demo.

Because it is provided by Viurgin Mobile, Samsung Slash gives users access to the VirginXL portal wwith animated and real music ringtones, and Headliner music magazine.
