Samsung Tocco Lite to become available in UK
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Samsung
The customers from the United Kingdom should be grateful because there were lots of new cell phones to be targeted at them in the last couple of weeks that were announced to become available in the near future. And the next in line is the Samsung Tocco Lite, which is the most recent full-touch device to hit the British market.

One of the main disadvantages of the cell phone is that it won’t come with 3G connectivity, but, in order to compensate this “handicapâ€, it is said to be sold under a very “competitive priceâ€. The other name of the device is Samsung S5230 and maybe now it rings a bell to all of you, because you had the chance to read about it when the South Korean company decided to announce it, back in March, along with another handset, the Samsung S5600.
The Lite is the latest Tocco handset to become available in UK and it’s supposed to carry on the legacy left by other Tocco cell phones, like the F480 or the UltraTouch S8300.
The features of the Tocco Lite include quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and 262K color, a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, the TouchWiz user interface, an accelerometer, Samsung DNSe 2.0 music technology, FM radio with RDS, widgets like Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. The phone measures 104 x 53 x 11.9 millimeters and has an internal memory of only 50MB. But you have the possibility to increase it via the microSD card slot with no more than 8GB.
The Samsung Tocco lite is expected to start selling in the United Kingdom starting this month.
