Mobilegazette presented some nice pics of the new Samsung X520, which is a low-cost an lightweight clamshell phone with a fairly basic feature set, wrapped up in an attractive and boldly designed package.

The Samsung X520 has a 128x160 pixel display in 65k colors, a VGA camera, however no Bluetooth, expandable memory or MP3 player, just an FM-radio. So a really basic entry-level phone.

Its main, and most likely only quality is a very attractive look, different from most other Samsungs. The SGH-X520's bold two-colour design is simple enough, but quite striking to look at. The specifications are certainly nothing to write home about, but it's a nice looking device and as it only weighs 78 grams, it's very lightweight too.

The inexpensive price tag could make the Samsung X520 a quite a popular phone for prepay/pay-as-you-go customers, and it will most likely be available in some regions in time for Christmas.
