Send SMS by email using Yahoo mailYahoo tries to get back in the game in any way possible and allowing the Yahoo Mail users to send SMS messages might be a good idea.

The young audience that's using Yahoo Messenger is the same audience that floods the networks with messages about the latest, coolest gadgets around, messages sent to their friends and classmates.

The new Yahoo Mail interface allows users to choose between email, instant messaging or SMS, whichever suits the user best at the moment.

John Kramer, vice-president of Yahoo Mail, said they want to make Yahoo a more social experience, since they are "sitting on top of the largest dormant social network out there".

Since Yahoo Mail has around 250 million accounts, the above statement is not such far-fetched as it may seem.

So, will you send more SMS messages now?
