Sony Ericsson Cybershot Instructions K550i

Sony Ericsson mobile phones are easy to use as they are user-friendly and have interactive menus with pictures not only with text. You can download the user guide from different websites if you really need instructions of some kind or you can start to button the phone yourself. It was a bit tricky for me when I got my Sony Ericsson CyberShot phone but now I know all the tricks and I couldn’t let it down until I knew it all. And because the Sony Ericsson K550i is simple designed, no flip, no touchscreen it is even easier. Below the screen are the navigation buttons to access the menu, the back button, the clear button, the toggle button in the middle and the four-way navigation one which you can easily set it to access shortcuts you set. So you don’t have to enter the menu each time you want to send a message or set the alarm clock.

The 2 megapixels camera lens is hidden under a grey cover and to turn on the camera you just have to slide the cover away. To close it just slide it back, it’s just that simple. It also has a 2.5x digital zoom. The phone measures 4.2 x 1.8 x 0.7 inches and weights 4 ounces. The design is like a candy bar and you can mistake it for your digital camera. The display features a 176x220 pixel resolution. The existing M2 memory stick slot allows you to expand the memory so you can take lots of photos and add many music files.

The internal memory of the phone is 64MB. It has also Bluetooth and USB connectivity but does not lack infrared receiver to keep the tradition. You can add multiple entries per contact in the address book. For example you can add other phone numbers, e-mail address, home address and so on. After this you can group contacts and add ringtones and pictures to each so you will always know who the caller is. Using the call list you can see recent missed calls, received calls and dialed calls. You can use voice dialing and with the built-in speakerphone you don’t have to keep the phone to your phone.

It supports SMS and MMS so you can send multimedia messages to your friends and let them see you in vacation. You can also send e-mails just like you do on your computer. What is more, the built-in Web browser lets you search for latest news and download files. The camera has also auto-focus and LED flash and if you connect them to USB you can then print them directly. The Video DJ application edits videos and makes them look more advanced. You can use Sony Ericsson K550i as a gaming device supporting Java and you can download more from different websites for free or from Sony Ericsson website with a certain cost. If you are on the plane you can use the airplane mode and still listen to music or play games and even organize your time or plan your schedule.

The lithium-ion battery lasts for about 7 hours in talk time and up to 14 days in stand by. The warranty is for one year. For ones interested in mobile phone photography this is the right choice.
