Sony Ericsson F305 mobile phone with FIFA 2009

Ok. I should breathe in, breathe out. Every time I hear these two words, FIFA 2009, I feel some cold shiver going down my back. I love football because I grew up in a family that worshiped, somehow, this sport, but I hate the game. And I hate it because my brother doesn’t seem to get enough with it. “EA sports, to the game!” Or at least this is what I understand.

Anyway, there are many FIFA addicts out there, and there is no doubt about it. And for all of them, here’s what Virgin Mobile has prepared: a special edition of the Sony Ericsson F305, one of the company’s most affordable slider cell phones. Being so cheap, you shouldn’t be surprised that more and more carriers decide to include in their offer.

Now, Virgin Mobile announced the introduction of the Sony Ericsson F305 FIFA 2009 in France. The phone will come with the FIFA 2009 pre-installed in its internal memory, while other 50 titles are on a 1GB M2 card. The F305 is equipped with a motion gaming sensor, which means that playing FIFA 2009 on it will turn into the ultimate experience.

As for the features, let me refresh your memory: GSM 850/900/1800/1900, a 2.0 inch TFT display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and 256 pixels, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, stereo FM radio with RDS, MP3 player, TrackID music recognition and a memory stick micro (M2). The F305 measures 96 x 47 x 14.6 millimeters and weighs 97.5 grams, while its battery provides up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 400 hours of stand-by time.

If you’re interested in a Virgin data plan, you’ll be able to purchase this special edition of the Sony Ericsson F305 mobile phone for only 1 Euro, but if you choose to get it on pre-pay, it will cost you 129 Euros.

Details about the phone becoming available in other countries are unknown for the moment.
