Today Sony Ericsson officially announced their new budget Walkman handset, the W200, a classic bar-shaped mobile following the current Sony Ericsson design lines and will be styled in the Walkman colors in two classic color combinations - black and orange and white and orange. The Sony Ericsson W200 would sport a 65K colors UBC display with a resolution of 128x160 pixels and would weigh only 85 g. The device equipment will also be complemented by a VGA camera, a Memory Stick Micro card slot, and a FM radio. Connectivity features include tri-band GSM/GPRS support, an Infrared port, USB support, but unfortunately there would be no Bluetooth support.

The Sony Ericsson W200 retail package will include a 128MB M2 memory card and a stereo headset HPM-64, the first with Bass Reflex. The Sony Ericsson W200 will be available in selected markets from Q2 2007.
