Sony Ericsson w760a has a nice design with easy-to-use functions and buttons. Performance is reliable, the music player is really nice and it offers broad world phone support. On the bad side the menu is a bit cramped and looks undefined, it does not have a camera flash and unfortunately the keypad buttons don’t present long term-use. But the major conclusion is that Sony Ericsson W760a is one of the best Sony Walkman edition phones ever.

Being a slider phone, it makes a good impression and you’ll get some starts on the street. The edges are curved and the lines clean, making it a very attractive phone. On the bottom of the phone there is a textured material and below the camera lens on the back you can see a shiny metal skin. There are several colors available for this phone among which you can choose fancy black, intense red or rocky silver. It measures 4.1 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide by 0.6 inch deep and it weights 3.5 ounces. It is both compact and light and it feels pretty solid when you hold it in your hands. Even if it is slider, it is well-constructed, and when you slide it out it doesn’t feel lose at all. The display featured has 2.25” and it is simply amazing, it supports 262,144 hues featuring bright and vivid colors. Graphics and menu are easy to use and pictures look pretty sharp. You can choose different menu styles and even adjust the brightness. The navigation buttons are easy to use and the four-way navigation toggle is spacious. It acts as shortcuts to different menus and the OK central button can be used as music player shortcut.



The keypad of this Sony Ericsson w760a is hidden under the slider and they are large and very easy to use. When you’re texting messages you won’t make any mistakes. The backlighting is bright and you’ll be able to type even in dark environments. The one complaint can be done about the plastic feel of the keys. On the edges you will find the volume rocker and the Walkman player shortcut. The charger port is located above the Walkman control and on top of the phone you can find the memory Stick Micro slot. On the back of the phone you will find the camera lens and in order to be able to take pictures you have to slide the phone. in the contact book you can add up to 1000 contacts and for each additional phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and other contact details. You can group them and select a ringtone and pictures for each. There are 42 polyphonic ringtones available on the phone. other features of the phone include a vibrate mode, voice recorder, SMS and MMS, alarm clock, calendar, task list, notepad, timer, speakerphone and calculator.



Furthermore, you will find Bluetooth, has e-mail support, file manager and USB mass storage. You will be able to find some applications, from useful ones to unusual ones. For example there is a tip calculator, unit convertor and a Rock Bobblehead, this one helps creating cartoon Elvis, which dances when you shake the phone, pretty cool actually. The music player offers functions like playlists, equalizer, stereo widening, and shuffle and loop modes.
