Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 Rachael

The first Sony Ericsson handset to come with the Android platform was said to be the Sony Ericsson Rachael, which I’m sure you remember, but the new name that you’ll have to get used to is Sony Ericsson Xperia X3. If some of you thought it will be X5, you should know you were wrong.

The pictures of this cell phone made their appearance some weeks ago, when there wasn’t much information available. However, Expansys, a popular online retailer, managed to put its hands on the complete list of features.

The phone comes, indeed, with an 8 megapixel camera with additional features such as autofocus, LED flash, face detection, image stabilization, smile shutter and VGA video recording.

Other features include quad band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), dual band 3G (900 / 2100 MHz) with HSDPA 10 Mbps and HSUPA 2 Mbps, a 4 inches touch sensitive display with a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels, assisted GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, miniUSB, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11g, email (POP3, IMAP4, SMTP, MS Exchange) and microSDHC card slot for expandable memory.

In addition, it seems that the new Sony Ericsson cell phone will come with a customized user interface. Unfortunately, there’s nothing official circulating over the Internet, or at least not right now, but we’re looking forward for new details.
