T700, part of the T-series Sony Ericsson cell phones

Being very light-weight despite the heavy looks, and, most important, an affordable device that is able to catch customers’ eyes, the Sony Ericsson T700 is precisely the type of handset that most people look for at Christmas time. You can’t guess the reason? Well, the device is the perfect mixture between good features, a stylish silhouette, high-speed data and a very good price.

Among its features are included: extra slim and solid, amazingly lightweight, soft and responsive controls, an impressive aluminum finish, quad-band GSM and EDGE, HSDPA, Bluetooth (with A2DP), a 2 inch QVGA TFT display with 256k colors, media center, Access NetFront 3.4 with mouse pointer and in-page search, 3.2 megapixel camera with a fixed focus, a maximum image resolution of 2048x1536 pixels, video capabilities (it is able to capture video at 15 frames per second), photo LED, geotagging (via cell triangulation) and fast photo browser, FM radio with RDS, 512MB M2 card, location services, Opera Mini, smart dialing, reliable battery cover release mechanism and finger print resistant covers.
As far as the entertainment is concerned, the Sony Ericsson T700 runs the Media Center with the Music Player 3.0 which supports a wide variety of file formats, such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+, WAV, WMA, W4A and MIDI. Similar to other Sony Ericsson phones, you can also find features like PhotoDJ, videoDJ and musicDJ. Worried about the TrackID? Fear no more, ‘cause the T700 has it, with all of the changes included, like “Find similar Musicâ€, “Send music info via SMSâ€, “TrackID charts†and a very extensive “Artist info†section.

The main disadvantages of the T700 are the 25MB of integrated memory (there’s no way for this storage capacity to be enough!), the lack of autofocus and no office document viewer.
The phone weighs only 78 grams, being 20 grams lighter than its predecessor, the T650, and measures approximately 104x48x10 millimeters. Under the battery cover, you will find the standard Sony Ericsson BST-33 Li-Poly battery with a capacity of 950 mAh, which is said to provide up to 370 hours of stand-by time and up to 9.5 hours of talk time in a GSM-only network.
The Sony Ericsson T700 is available in three color combinations, black on red, black on silver and shining silver and it’s currently priced at 170 Euros.
