It won the Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of The Year, and now it wears the title of is one of the Best of Innovations Honoree at CES 2008.
WildCharger is the world’s first wireless charging pad for mobile devices, but at the moment it can charge only the Motorola RAZR cell phone models.
In the next month, the company will introduce support for Blackberry, iPhone and the iPod.
Together with the charging pad, you can find also the WildCharge adapters, sold separately or with the pad.
The charging pad can power up to 5 mobile devices simultaneously, but these devices need to have the right technology built-in or the WildCharge adapters.
This way, the charging process is eliminating the annoying and space-consuming wires and wall bricks, and all that you have to do is to place your device on the pad in any position.
WildCharger pad starts to transfer the power via the contact points to the adapter and into the mobile device, and the device’s position doesn’t count because of the special geometry of the charging surface.
There is a closed electrical circuit that forms between the surface and the mobile device.

The WildCharger pad and the adapter bundle cost $89.99, and if you need to check for compatibility or to get them separately, you may see the online catalog here.
