The latest Vodafone mobile phone is a Nokia
Posted by: Maria Mihale in Nokia, Vodafone
Its name is 6730. Nokia 6730. And it’s said to be the next Vodafone mobile phone to be launched by the provider sometime during this month. For the moment, we should be satisfied by the fact that it was officially announced by the Finnish company via a press release that tell us about the exclusivity Vodafone obtained in selling the phone worldwide.

The Nokia 6730 classic is expected to start selling in the next couple of weeks “across Vodafone’s global footprintâ€. This means that customers from several European countries, from African and Asian ones will soon be able to enjoy the benefits brought by this new phone.
All phones that are part of the classic range of devices designed by Nokia are candybars, so the Nokia 6730 is a candybar also. The cell phone is compatible with the Symbian S60 operating system and comes with GPS capabilities which are more advanced than those you can find on other similar devices.
Other features of this new Vodafone mobile phone include quad band GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), dual band HSDPA (for 900/2100 MHz networks), a 2.2 inch QVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Bluetooth connectivity, Nokia Maps, both personal and business email, Mobile Internet, the Vodafone Music Client service and a 1GB microSD card included, for expandable memory.
The device measures 112 x 46 x 12.6 millimeters and weighs 83 grams.
“The Nokia 6730 is a great all-round handset – just as perfect for mobile internet users as for music fans who want to take their tracks with them. This product follows a successful line-up of Vodafone exclusive devices from Nokia and is another great example of our collaborationâ€, said Peter Becker-Pennrich, the Director of Terminals Marketing at Vodafone.
