The New XV6800 from Verizon


The latest Verizon mobile phone model based on Windows Mobile 6 will be available very soon in the company’s stores, more exactly on December 5.
The phone is called XV6800 and now you can order it online only.

With the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft you can access the Internet instantly and you also have lots of useful applications such as calendar, e-mail, and many others.
The phone has a built-in camera of 2.0 MP with flash and recording capabilities which ensures clear colors and sharp images.

You can continue your work on this device very easily while you are away from your computer because it comes with support for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF file types.

To keep it small without bothering you with its dimensions, Verizon designed the model with a slider QWERTY keyboard with Trackwheel Navigation that comes out only when you need to type.
The device measures 4.3"x2.3"x0.7" and weights 5.8 ounces, according to the official specs.

Also, it has Bluetooth support, EV-DO technology, Wi-Fi, BroadbandAccess Connect and comes with useful software like Internet Explorer Mobile, Windows Media Player version 10, and has support for ActiveSync, Windows Mobile Device Center, and Wireless Sync.

The XV6800 has 64MB RAM/256MB ROM memory to which you can add more, up to 8GB, with a microSD card, and a 2.8-inch touch-sensitive TFT LCD screen of 240x320 pixels and 64K colors.

Two of the most interesting capabilities of this device are the voice command recognition and the special security locking features.
Having a Li-Ion battery of 920 mAh, the phone has a working time of up to 5.4 hours.

Verizon offers the model for $449.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year customer agreement.
